Responsible stays

Effective Date: July 14, 2026

Responsible stays protect guests, neighbours, caretakers, and the homes themselves.

The properties shown on this website are real homes in real neighbourhoods. Responsible stays begin with honest booking details, including the correct number of guests, dates, arrival plans, and purpose of stay. This allows us to confirm whether the selected property is suitable for the group.

Parties, loud music, property damage, and disturbance to neighbours are not acceptable. The homes are intended for comfortable private stays, family travel, tourist groups, wedding guests, and work travellers, not disruptive gatherings. Guests should follow the house rules shown on the property page.

Clean and careful use matters. Guests should keep the kitchen and common areas reasonably tidy, handle furniture and fixtures with care, and switch off appliances when not in use. Any damage or misuse may be discussed directly and may be chargeable depending on the situation.

Responsible communication is also important. If something goes wrong during the stay, report it quickly instead of waiting until checkout. Early communication gives us a better chance to help with access, maintenance, directions, or amenity questions.

The purpose of these rules is not to make the stay difficult. They help each group enjoy privacy and comfort while keeping the property ready for future guests. When everyone understands the expectations, the stay feels smoother from arrival to checkout.
